Michael is an accomplished tier of over 50 years, and has mastered the art of tying parachutes. His trick of inverting the hook when wrapping the hackle makes a fly some of us avoid a no brainer!
If you haven’t had a chance to attend our free “Brunch Bunch” seminars held every Saturday morning, we have been having a blast and staying out of fly fishing hibernation so far this winter. All Day Double Haul Casting Clinic & Superbowl Party!!!
We will be open for Superbowl Sunday at 10AM until the end of the game. Our guides will be available all day to work on you casting, with a specific emphasis on learning how to improve/learn the double haul. Oh, and did I mention we will have a keg as well as a Superbowl pool-$5 dollar entry fee and casting competition with proceeds to benefit Project Healing Waters. This will be a fun day–don’t miss it!
Hump Day Tying Night: 2/3/10
Every Wednesday evening from 6-8PM plan on coming down to the shop for Hump Day Tying Night. Bring your vice, latest patterns, tying questions and favorite “beverages.” We already have a fun group of regulars but more the merrier!
It has been a great start to 2010 this year! If you get cabin fever this winter and need to get on the water, make sure you stop by the shop. We are always happy to share hot flies, firsthand reports. At CSO we fish 365 days a year! |
