Formed in 2008 with two employees, Minturn Anglers is now recognized as the premier fly shop and guide service in the State of Colorado. As evidence, in 2017 we were recognized as the best Fly Shop by the Vail Daily and its readership. We owe our success to three guiding principles.

  1. We love the outdoors and we love fishing. It’s what we do. Sharing our passion and knowledge is a constant source of joy and satisfaction.
  2. We are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction on all of our guided trips.
  3. Let’s have fun. With the caveat, that it is always safety first, we want you to have fun and enjoy your time with us. We don’t tolerate pretense or fussiness. It’s fishing.

Minturn Anglers is an equal opportunity employer operating under the Colorado River Outfitter License number 472, State of Colorado Outfitter 2597, and numerous special use permits with the BLM, White River National Forest, and the Colorado DOW.

We love what we do!

No one fishes for a living to become wealthy. Our reward is living in one of the most spectacular environments on the planet and sharing a love of the outdoors and the challenge of fly fishing.

We want you to be safe.

As incredible as the ecosystem we operate within is, awareness and preparedness is paramount. We can’t control mother nature, but we can control the experience for you and your family.

There are no bad days!

Fishing is unpredictable, having fun is always within our control.

Respect for our habitats.

The most important legacy we can leave is a better environment for future generations.

Giving back to communities.

We work with a variety of community organizations to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate.

We work with several organizations.

Including but not limited to:

  • Vail Valley Foundation
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Trout Unlimited
  • Restore the Gore
