Perfect Arkansas River Rainbow Trout

The Arkansas River below Pueblo has been on fire lately!  The BWO’s have hatching in great numbers, even as we progress into December.  The midges have also picked up.  Nymphing has been productive in the early morning hours and the dries begin around noon.  Parachute Adams, Extended Body BWO’s, Sprout Midges and Erics Midge have all been productive dry fly patterns in the afternoon.  Pheasant Tails, RS2s, Jujubaetis, Pandemic Mayflies
