Brassie Midge
The Brassie is often one of the first flies a fly tier attempts to create.  This makes it great fly to tie at all skill levels.  A change in wire color will give this fly a complete face lift.  Red often is used to imitate a midge, but a simple change in color to chartreuse makes it a micro caddis.  A great fly that is found in every anglers fly box.
