This has been the most phenomenal week of fishing I have ever experienced on the South Platte River. The water is gin clear all the way from Cheesman Canyon to the confluence of the North Fork. I thought the 4th of July rain would have thrown it off, but the river remained clear the following day. I am talking about guided trips where we are catching fish at will however we wish…nymphs, dries, dry dropper.
