Deckers/Cheesman
Flow: 75
Rating: Good
Heavy rain this week left the river dirty in Deckers and the lower part of the canyon. It should clear up once things dry out. Deckers down is still off color as a result of Horse Creek Run-off. Light Tan-Shell Pink pigstickers and San Juans, banana splits, various golden stone patterns.Dream Stream
Flow: 250
Rating: Poor
Hot Flies: dynamiteDetails: Feeder creeks dumping into the dream stream have it off color at the moment. Spinney is currently turning over so there is a lot of junk coming out of the dam along with green water. Give it some time.Eagle River
Flow: 500ish in Avon
Rating: Fair
Hot Flies:Rubber buggers, sculpzillas, tequilly’s, other bright streamers.
Details: Run off has started on the Eagle and it is now floatable. Best fished with streamers from the bank. If you have experience with streamers from the boat you will do well.
Other Hot Spots
Blue: The blue below Dillon and below Green Mountain are both fish well. Lots of BWO’s showing up below Green Mountain.
Colorado: Fishing well at Parshall and from Pump to Radium. Typical summer stuff is working to include: princes, twenty inchers, streamers, worms, and other big nymphs.
Rocky Mountain Arsenal: The arsenal is a great warm water option close to home. The pike bite has been hot, and we’ve picked up some very big Large Mouth bass. Call us form more details.
