This presentation will focus on rigging, techniques, and flies for rivers in the rocky mountains, or any trout river in the world. Josh will explain and break down the techniques of “indicatorless” nymphing, as well as talk about situation specific techniques to help catch trout regardless of the time of year.  This presentation will cover how to break down water and present flies in a tactical manner, which in many situations is far more effective than traditional nymphing methods.

Josh represents Umpqua Feather Merchants in the Colorado, Utah and New Mexico, he has fished all over the US and the world.  Josh has competed at the World Championships in Norway, The Czech Republic and soon to be Bosnia, he won the 2013 National Championships on the Roaring Fork Valley, and has spent  extensive time fishing in New Zealand.
