Fly Fishing Gear Checklist
Tomorrow You Will have the Option between 2 fishing locations.
Option 1: South Platte River Near Deckers
Details: Weekend crowds are heavy through the summer with use beyond fly fishing. Lot’s of tubers to say the least. Nonetheless, this is good water to learn based on it’s proximity. If the water is low and clear, expect to have a tough day as you are learning. It takes a perfect drift to catch fish in this section. High and dirty water is more forgiving.
Option 2: Rainbow Fall Mountain Trout Club
Minturn is pleased to offer you access to Rainbow Falls located 12 miles from Deckers. A single day on this water would normally cost $420. Tomorrow 8 students have the opportunity to fish rainbow falls for $60. This is world class fishing on a series of 9 lakes and a creek that offer chances of fish over 10 pounds. You will definitely learn how to set the hook and fight fish if you choose rainbow falls. Minimum of 4 Maximum of 8
