…temps are dropping, the fishs’ metabolisms are slowing down and people are beginning to knock the dust off their vises. We are Minturn Anglers have officially begun our “Fly Tying Night” at our Parker location. Every Wednesday (unless otherwise noted) we will be posted up in the back of the Parker fly shop around the table from 6pm-8pm tying flies. Each week will have a unique theme so come to them all!
The staff at Minturn Anglers will be here to show a few patterns and help you tie them yourselves. Whether you are looking to improve a specific fly tying technique or just want to learn, come on by the shop and let our experienced guides and shop hands show you the ropes.
All you need to bring is your vise, your tying tools, your fly tying materials and a light (optional) and you are ready. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage too, there is always room in the cold box!
How much does it cost? NOTHING! We are happy to share our knowledge with you, our customer, and anyone who shares our passion for tying flies. If you are a complete beginner, we still encourage you to come by and watch and learn. We have a few shop vises and material to share but they are limited to the first two participants without material.
