… this Wednesday November 12th from 6pm to 8pm for a night of fly tying and tasty adult beverages. Minturn Anglers has teamed up with Hall Brewing Company for this awesome event and we can’t be more excited. Bring your vise, tying materials, tools and a light. This week’s theme is “Dubbed Bodies“! Hall Brewing Company is a traditional farmhouse brewery based in Denver, Colorado. Everything they do – from building their brewery to making the beer- they do with their own hands. They make true craft beer and take pride in not only producing the best craft beer but also putting enough in it to suit their custom four-thousand-square-foot building they made from Colorado beetle-kill pine. |

Front Range Fishing Reports 11/2/14 |
![]() Deckers
Tiny is the ticket these days with a helpful serving of eggs. Pegged eggs have been turning heads in conjunction with tiny baetis and midges. If you’re looking to fish dries, we won’t stop ya! Favor the slower slicks and back eddies and bring your “high vis” patterns, the bugs they’re eating are SMALL. If the small dries are a little much for your eyes, fish unweighted emergers behind an indicator close to the surface. If that indicator even twitches, set the hook! Dream Stream
Salmon fishing has been silly good as they are easy to spot and podded up thick. Eggs, Beads, leeches and scuds have been their diet of late. The brown trout fishing is still good though the fish are beginning to thin out. Start fishing the lower stretch above 11 Mile Reservoir for drop back browns as they munch their way back to the reservoir. Friendly reminder, PLEASE STAY OFF THE SPAWNING BEDS!!! Still Water
The lake fishing has been great at Spinney and Antero Reservoirs with 20+ inch trout being every other fish. Streamers and lake chironomids are grabbing their attention (unless you have a great snail pattern you’d like to share!). Bass are still hot on the streamer bite and the carp are still nosin’ for nymphs and crays.
