Eagle River

The Eagle River is running at 130CFS and gin clear. Think lighter, fluorocarbon tippet, smaller bugs and lighter presentation. If you are fishing early or late, don’t hesitate to throw in a  The Eagle is seeing far less pressure than it’s seen all Summer so head on up to the mountains and catch some browns and ‘bows!
Colorado River

11-9-2014… thats right, believe it? November blue bird weather patterns have dominated this fall and effectively extended our season on the Upper Colorado from Pumphouse- Statebridge way past our usual end dates. Water temps and levels continue to allow for floats and wades over very active fish feasting on BWO’s, Stones, Midges and Eggs. Streamer action is picking up and a few reports of dry fly action means you can do what you love, not what you need to. The fish are on the redds and with the gin clear water it is not impossible to see where these fish are trying to reproduce. Give them a break, sit and observe instead of disturb. Check with us before you go. The shorter days of winter will be here soon making for more difficult conditions with edge ice, boat ramps and shuttles

Gore Creek

Gore Creek is clear and low but still fishing well. Fine tippet and small bugs have gotten the most fish but if you don’t mind covering water, try some small streamers in each pocket. It’s always good for at least a look!
