I went on my first fishing trip at the ripe age of 8 months old. I was born in Miami Florida and my dad had me out in his 24 foot open fisherman as soon as mom would let him. I guess it kind of stuck with me. We moved to Colorado in 1982, I started fly fishing 10 years later and have never looked back.
Four years ago I took guide class with CSO and started helping out with fishing schools, I quickly found what I love, teaching people to fly fish. Since then I have helped teach hundreds of students, I still get the same thrill seeing clients catch their first fish as if it was my own.
When I am not on the water I am at home with my two beautiful little girls and my wife. If you see me at the shop say hello and share your most recent trip with me, I look forward to hearing about it!
My Favorite Water
I have been a Parker CO. boy since 1982, so that being said the South Platte is where I have spent a majority of time. My favorite places to “get away” would be the North Platte from Miracle Mile all the way to Casper, the Big Horn River in Montana as well as the Green River in Utah.
Stillwater (lakes) have also become a passion of mine, nothing fights like a giant bass stripping streamers down at Aurora reservoir. South Park reservoirs are also high on my list, if you see a tan and white drift boat bobbing up and down in the white caps, it is probably me and the guys. If you would like to book a trip with me give the shop a call at 720-851-4665.
Hope to see you on the water!
