RATING (7/10)
Rating 8/10: Fremont is fishing well and we are finding some nice browns  Those big canyon run brown trout should be moving in soon!
FREMONT CANYON RECOMMENDED, RIGGING & TECHNIQUES
NYMPHING Definitely the name of the game. The water is murky but the fish are used to it.  Dont just fish the “junk” flies. Tie on some bugs.
STREAMERS Streamers have been moving fish in the deeper canyon spots and tailouts in cardwell.
SPEY/SWING We’ve gotten fish to chase small lightly dressed leech patterns.

LATEST LATEST FREMONT CANYON REPORT, NEWS & UPDATES Fremont Canyon Fishing Report 11/13/13:  Seeing some nice fish coming from Fremont lately.  Water seams to be clearing slightly, but still not clear by any stretch of the imagination.  Some nice fall browns but Fremont isn’t a brown fishery they way it is a rainbow fishery in the spring.10/1/13: I made it up this past weekend to teach a spey class and found time to sneak into Fremont With Wayne.  We death marched ino some canyon stretch and also fished cardwell. Solid fishing, but not spectacular.  Won’t be long though!FREMONT CANYON FISHNG REPORT 4/15/13: Fish are being caught pretty steadily and there are definitely some big fish to be had. That said, the cat is out of the bag on this place, and it has been crowded. If it’s busy, go explore the Canyon.  There are plenty of big fish (if not more) than in the cardwell access and NO PEOPLE!
GREY REEF FLY FISHING ARTICLES & INFORMATION
It’s hard to get excited about fishing anything other than the North Platte from now until June. The N. Platte is the real deal and nothing in the lower 48 touches it.
