6/1/13 The Pan has been fishing really well this spring. After last years lean snowpack they are trying to fill Reudi Res. right now, making the tailwater flow pretty much ideal. However, this is no secret, so crowds have been pretty common; especially right below the dam. For the upper river sticking with a long flouro nymp rig is going to take the most fish. Dry fly fishing on the middle and lower portions has been steadily getting better as the baetis and midges are now being supplemented with caddis. Flies: Midges, baetis and mysis for the most part, with caddis and eggs being good attractors.
