On those stormy blustery days when I’m waiting for the weather to clear so I can get back to my favorite Colorado waterfowl hunting fields, I often turn to the internet to research the latest supplies, gear and equipment. My first online stop is Minturn Anglers’online shop because I know their stores in Denver, Minturn and Vail are well stocked and that they fully standby every item in the store and online.

What an easy way to shop, any time of the day, sitting in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee in hand. It certainly makes it easy to come up with gift ideas for my waterfowl hunting friends. Often I can take advantage of online coupons and deals. What I particularly appreciate is being able to take my time to research new products being offered. I know store staff are very helpful and friendly, but sometimes I simply prefer to mull over technical information before I make up my mind about a purchase. This “private” shopping also gives me the time to evaluate whether a new gadget or piece of equipment is within my current budget. Then I am ready to engage in face to face conversation with people in the store.

The Minturn website offers me a department store at my fingertips. I often browse their Accessories/Tools/Gadgets section, always checking over the sunglasses because I seem to need a new pair every season. Clothing and apparel items, such as socks, pants, gloves, hats and jackets are always a draw, as I appreciate anything that keeps me comfortable out in the field.

When I’m in the market for specialized or more expensive gear such as waders, I appreciate being able to compare product information from different suppliers. It is so much easier to sit at home and find my style, size and color. Even if I think I’ve made a decision, I usually have a list of questions to take with me to my local Minturn Anglers store. Such great staff   ̶  they always have the answers!
