Minturn Anglers offers guided carp fishing on the South Platte.  Ideal flows for carp fishing through Denver are during low water periods where releases out of Chatfield are less then 100CFS.  This makes pinpointing their location and sight fishing more productive.  If you have not fly fished for carp it’s a blast.  Carp are big hard fighting fish and fairly difficult to hook up with on a fly.  If you are planning a saltwater trip for reds, bones, or permit, chasing carp is a great way to practice for the salt.
