Minturn Anglers Fly Fishing Float Guide (Lead)

 

Minturn Anglers is seeking applicants to join our team of guides who are regarded as the finest fly-fishing guides in The Vail Valley. Our guides will be an integral part of the Minturn Anglers team who work hard, fast and together to give our customers the best fly-fishing experience. Becoming a part of Minturn Anglers staff also makes you a representative of Minturn Anglers brand, an 11-year history of being the best fly-fishing company in Colorado. A high level of professionalism and customer service will be expected while on guided trips, as well as other Guide Service-related events and activities within Minturn Anglers.

 

Requirements:
– Float Certification with Trip Leader status
– Extensive knowledge of Vail Valley and Roaring Fork Valley waters and appropriate fishing techniques
– Reliable transportation
– Ability to work long hours

– 5 years guiding experience preferable

– Dedicated to working daily during the season
– First Aid/CPR certification

– Professional appearance

– Ability to teach fly fishing for success on our rivers to varying degrees of angler experience – Beginner to pro

*Compensation to be determined based on prior guiding experience & Industry knowledge.
*This position is seasonal, but we are open to full time depending on performance.

*Bonus Potential based on client portfolio.
