Are you heading to Grey Reef this Spring and looking for some tried and true staple North Platte fly patterns & a few guide flies?

Our manager spends all Spring on the North Platte where he guides full time on Grey Reef, the Miracle Mile & Fremont Canyon.  Needless to say he burns through some flies and must create flies that are tough, are not to time intensive & catch fish!

He will be walking us through a variety of Grey Reef annelids, scuds, midge patterns, BWO nymphs, and some easy swing flies that can be fished as a streamer or swung at the end of the drift under an indicator.

Grey Reef, Miracle Mile Spring Fly Fishing Photo Gallery

The Grey Reef, Miracle Mile & Fremont Canyon Sections of the North Platte has been rated as the #1 Big Fish Destination in the lower 48 by American Angler and it seldom disapoints.  If you have not fished this amazing section of river, you need to put it on your list.  After you fish the North Platte in the Spring, it will be hard to justify the drive another 5 hours north to the Bighorn.

Tying Demo: Saturday March 3rd 10-11AM
