EAGLE RIVER FISHING REPORT

Feels like April but it’s not. Enjoy this incredible spring like weather on one of Colorado’s best freestones.
Our private water here on the Eagle has opened up considerably and the fishing has been off the hook. We have had several very successful trips this weekend on the Rolling J Ranch property which has looked more like a hockey rink in the past few months. As with high mountain lakes, rivers can be “Fun like you read about” when the ice finally gives way and the trout can see the surface again…..LIKE NOW!!!

Nymphing small and deep has still been the best technique and fishing has been best between 10 and 3. There have been a few fish rising with the warmer afternoon temps for those of you who NEED a dry fly fix.

This is an awesome opportunity to take advantage of the weather and a truly special piece of water while you can. The fish that call the middle portion of the Eagle river home(Edwards-Eagle) are world class and this is a special treat for February with VERY Special prices. Call or email us for details.
