Prince Nymph
As a guide on the Colorado and Eagle River, the prince nymph was on my line almost all summer long. It has a touch of stonefly with the biot tails and profile, and the white “horns/wings” and addition of the soft hackle color has made this fly an absolute staple in every guide’s fly box. Guide’s Tip: Try subbing out the white wings for holographic tinsel making it “The Fly Formerly Known as Prince.” The thing absolutely crushes! (especially if you need a white fish to save the day!)
