Simms G4 BOA® Boot- Guide Approved!

A guide testimonial from Minturn Anglers – Parker, Bob Sorok
download (1)
I recently purchased the New Simms’ G4 BOA® Boot and I have to say that they stand alone in the wading boot category.First of all, I really like the BOA® system location on the outer side of the boot, as with other brands most of the time it is located directly in front of the shoe allowing sand to get trapped under your wader cuff causing problems. At first I was worried that I would step in between rocks and bust it off but that never was a problem. These new boots got a vigorous test right out of the gate with me as I wore them the very first time into Cheesman Canyon with three inches of snow on the ground.Anyone who has hiked the canyon understands that a great pair of boots is an absolute must due to the adverse walking conditions.I never missed a step, slipped, tripped or fell down and that usually is a given for me.I was concerned about wearing them for the first time on this fishing outing but my feet felt great at the end of the day. So the ole saying about breaking in boots before taking such a journey as hiking into Cheesman Canyon does not apply here with the Simms’ G4 BOA® Boot.Secondly, I couldn’t believe how well the new Rivertread ™ technology adhered to the substructures of the river, it really felt like I was wearing felt soles.I am notorious for slipping and falling in and with these boots I stayed dry as a popcorn ball all day.Come into Minturn Anglers Denver/Parker location and try on a pair, I bet it will be love at first try on.Happy fishing!
