Our two day fishing school takes place in both the classroom and on the river. After these two days you will have gain the skills and information to be self sufficient anglers.

Guide Service Philosophy
Our
guide service is here to help you become more knowledgeable, skilled,
and self sufficient anglers. Catching fish on a fly is a process and we
take time to explain it in a way you can understand. After a lifetime
on the water and thousands of guided trips, we have collaborated to
create a
streamlined system of teaching and fishing that consistently proves
successful. After a day with one of our guides, we encourage you to
utilize our shop as a free resource for fly recommendations, fishing
reports, and any fishing related questions you might have.
Public Water, Wild Fish, Close to Home
You
would be hard pressed to find an accomplished angler who learned to
fish by paying rod fees on top of guide fees to fish private water
(trout petting zoos). Others might choose to fish with a guide on the
Bighorn where trout are so thick you can walk across their backs. The
waters we guide (South Platte, Colorado) are challenging fisheries
that demand a certain proficiency in fly fishing fundamentals. When you
become successful on our local waters, you will naturally gain the
ability and “fishiness” to catch trout anywhere in the world.
