Ty Clifton Tying Demonstration: Winter Streamer for Colorado. Our very own Ty Clifton is one of Colorado’s most accomplished and skillful fly tiers and he will be showing you how to put a Pacific Northwest style spin on your ordinary streamers.
We feel very fortunate to have Ty on staff full time in the shop and as a tying instructor. As a fly tier, he brings a skill set in teaching fly tying that we have never had before at Colorado Skies. If you haven’t already met Ty, be sure to come see his demo this Saturday and be sure to stop in and run any tying related questions you have by Ty this winter!
Here is a sneak peak of some similar flies that Ty will be twisting up for us this Saturday. Proportions will be slimmed down for our local trout, and he will be showing you some shortcuts that can make these flies quicker and easier.
