February 25th
Ty Clifton Spring Streamers for the Dream Stream: Ty will be twisting up and discussing a variety of streamers for targeting migratory fish moving from 11 Mile Reservoir into the Dream Stream

March 3rd
Tying For the North Platte River (Part 1 of 3): The beginning of our manager’s three part series on the North Platte in Central Wyoming.  He will be showing us all the flies he ties every night while on the North Platte in April and May.

March 10th
Grant Houx Fishing North Park: Grant Houx (Owner of St. Petes Fly Shop in Fort Collins) will be offering a presentation on fly fishing in North Park, Colorado.  He will discuss the North Platte Headwaters, Encampment, Upper Poudre River & Delaney Buttes Reservoirs. Grant really knows his stuff making this another another Don’t miss presentation!

March 17th
Frank Smethurst Big Fish Rigging & Tim Raejeff Casting Clinic: Scott Fly Rod Rep Frank Smethurst is no stranger to big fish.  We are anxiously awaiting this presentation when Frank will talk us through rigs he has developed over the years for targeting big fish in Colorado and throughout the world. Also in presenting will be Echo Fly rod and Raejeff Sports chairman Tim Raejeff.  Tim is one of the best casters in the world and will be here to talk us through every aspect of casting. DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!!

March 24th
Spring on the Miracle Mile (Part 2 of 3): This Saturday our guide will be taking us to the Miracle Mile.  Learn where Migratory fish out of Pathfinder reservoir stage, and how to target these amazing fish on foot, out of a boat, with nymphs and streamers.

March 31st
Spring on Grey Reef (Part 3 of 3): The North Platte 3-part series will conclude on Grey Reef.  Our guide Will be discussing a variety of public access points for wade fishing, floating the Reef & all the details of fishing this world renowned Western tailwater.

Ty Clifton Tying Demonstration: Winter Streamer for Colorado.  Our very own Ty Clifton is one of Colorado’s most accomplished and skillful fly tiers and he will be showing you how to put a Pacific Northwest style spin on your ordinary streamers.
Winter Fly Fishing on the Colorado River: Minturn Anglers Denver fly shop manager will be talking us through winter fly fishing on the Colorado River.  Where to fish, when to fish and how to fish.

Intro to Fly Fishing @ the Wildlife Experience: Minturn Anglers guide staff will be conducting an intro to fly fishing class at the Wildlife Experience.  Limited to the first 25 who sign up.

Free Winter Nymphing Clinic Part 1 Classroom, Part 2 on the River: Part 1 of this free weekend class discusses the various aspects of winter nymphing.  On Sunday we will meet at Colorado Skies at 9AM and head to a section of the South Platte River to put to practice what was discussed the previous day.  All are welcome to attend the Saturday portion but the on the water clinic is limited to the first 12 who call to sign up. 720-851-4665

Free Fishing Small Dries Clinic Part 1 Classroom, Part 2 on the River: Saturday’s classroom portion will cover the specifics of what it takes to catch fish on small dry flies.  Techniques discussed will serve you well through the winter and during midge,  trico & BWO hatches throughout the year.  Sunday we will head out to the South Platte and practice techniques discussed the previous day.  All are welcome to attend the Saturday classroom portion but Sunday on the water is limited to the first 12 who sign up. 720-851-4665

Spring on the Dream Stream: Minturn Anglers fly fishing guides will discuss the annual migration of giant cutties and rainbows moving out of 11 Mile Reservoir into the “Dream Stream” Section of the South Platte.
